Dr. Jade Atkins is the Director/Curator of the Joggins Fossil Institute in Nova Scotia gave a presentation on the Joggins Fossil Cliffs, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Joggins Fossil Centre is a wonderful museum and offers guided tours of the cliffs. It is located about 20 minutes from the Nova Scotia – New Brunswick border. Click here for more information.

About Our Speaker: Peter is one, of very few people in Canada, who holds degrees in both Veterinary and Human Medicine. He has spent most of his career as a full time Family Physician in a Cambridge clinic, however, he is also distinguished as a Medical Consultant for several pharmaceutical companies and Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa. He has written and edited numerous publications, which include research in the fields of cardiology and lipidology.
